Luis Miguel Ariza is a biologist, journalist and novelist. He has been head of the Science section of the newspaper La Razon, has worked in the prestigious Scientific American and New Scientist and in 2000 coordinated the English TV series 2.mil. He has published three novels: The Shadow of the Shaman (2002), Kraken. Caught in the Abyss (2005) and Lazarus Project (2007).
